E. David Cronon
in Study at 5601 Varsity Hill, 1962
My father's book-lined study, and the historical research and writing he did in it, is undoubtedly one of the most powerfully evocative memories of my childhood.

Jean Cronon Skyping
My mother had never sent an email in her life while my father was alive. Now, she emails, Skypes, surfs the Web, and navigates the Internet with increasing skill. That's me taking the photo in the lower left-hand corner. |
